Hafner's HR, one of the longest of all-time?

Rays manager Joe Madden on Hafner's Blast: "It's only 442 because something stopped it," Maddon said. "On the moon, that would be circling right now. That was as high and far as a ball has been hit in this place since I've been here." To check it out at mlb.com follow these instructions: You have to click the text for Hafner's blast, which is right below the usual video screen. As for the longest all-time argument, I have to agree with Madden. The official 442 was stopped by the back wall at the Trop. This could have challenged the 550+ Mantle HR if it was allowed to travel.
