Kobe, Pau, Lamar, & Ron New Nickname to be Revealed on 35th Anniversary of "Rumble In the Jungle"

The defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers who are again the favorites to win the 2010 NBA Title with the signing of Ron Artest and the re-signing of Lamar Odom will get their new nickname for their new core foursome players Kobe, Pau, Lamar, and Ron. Derrick E. Vaughan the National Bsketball & Hip-Hop Culture Month Foundation (NBHHCM) founder will reveal to Laker Nation and the rest of the NBA the nickname on the 35th Anniversary of the Ali-Forman "Rumble In the Jungle" World Heavyweight title fight that was held on October 30, 1974 in Zaire, Africa.

Vaughan says, "In recent years there's been a focus on the "Big 3" and that's been played more than a Sanford and Son re-run." This is the first time since the mid 1980's that a team has had 4 bonafide star players on one team. To honor the Lakers and its quest for another title run this 4-man monster needs a cool, hip, and signature nickname. The foursome of Kobe, Pau, Lamar, and Ron will be given that signature nickname on Friday October 30, 2009 in a National press release.
