Buying Yashin Out Is Stupider Than Signing Him In The First Place

I'll tell ya fucking something. One of the stupidest moves ever in NHL history was signing this prat to a contract for 10 years, It's a suicidal move and you must be a complete moron to offer the deal in the first place. You're stuck with Yashin as you can't ever trade him for the money he's making. But it's even stupider buying him out at this point. It's still costing the team $2.2 million on the salary cap each year, so you're not saving a significant amount of money. You're paying this guy over $4 million a year over the next four years not to play for you for fux sake? You can pay me a measly hundred grand and I won't play for your fucking useless team either. What a joke. If I'm paying some prick $4million a year, you can fucking bet I'm going to make the bastard earn it. I don't give a shit if he's on the fourth line or licking the condensation off of the dressing room mirrors, he's fucking working for his money. And by the way, by scoring an average of about a point per game, he's still better than about 15 of the other players on the Islanders anyway. Twats!
