DiPietro out for year again
I wonder if anyone on Long Island doubts the 15 year, 67.5 million dollar contract that was given to, then 24 year old Rick DiPietro, now that he is out for the 2nd season in a row with hip surgery. What will they get out of him over the next 13 seasons? Will it be the guy who went to the all-star game in Atlanta or the guy that went 1and 7 in the 8 games after the break. I'm not sure what you can expect from him but I do know if I were a GM I wouldn't sign a goaltender to a 15 year deal no matter who it was.
