Vagina injuries run rampid this NHL season... Briere's turn.

Danny Briere's groin (vagina) injury is not as bad as first feared, and the Philadelphia Flyers center hopes to play next week.

Briere was examined Friday morning, and his surgeon told him the adhesions broke from his last groin (vagina) surgery and there was some internal bleeding. Briere said his surgeon told him that was common and Briere could possibly play Tuesday against Buffalo.

Briere had a light workout Friday and hoped to skate on Saturday. He did not expect to play in Saturday's game against Nashville.

Briere tweaked a groin (vagina) injury against Calgary on Thursday that has already forced him to miss 51 games this season.
