DG53

North Carolina romped to the NCAA men's basketball championship, winning their tournament games by an average of 20 points. But you wouldn't know that by looking at dread gallery 53. No Tar Heel players have dreads, and none of the six teams they defeated have any players with dreads either. Nothing I can do about that. For teams that do have players with dreads, here is DG53, a look at some action from the NCAA tournament.

1. Ohio State junior G P.J. Hill dives in front of the press table after trying to keep ball inbounds during Buckeyes' first round loss to Siena on Mar. 20 at Dayton.

2. Junior F Jordan Hill drives between Samardo Samuels and Preston Knowles on his way to the basket during 1st half of Arizona's loss to Louisville in a third round game on Mar. 27.

3. Sophomore G Roburt Sallie of Memphis drives to the basket against Cal State-Northridge senior G Rodrigue Mels during first round game. Sallie, averaging 4.5 PPG, saved the day for Memphis, scoring a career high 35 points as Tigers held off CSUN's upset bid 81-70.

4. Junior G London Warren of Dayton and junior G Mario Little of Kansas reach for a loose ball late in 1st half of Kansas' easy second round victory at Minneapolis.

5. London Warren hits the floor as he steals the ball during the first round against West Virginia ........

6. ........ and Warren gets a timeout called before being tied up by Da'Sean Butler (right) and Darryl Bryant. This play happened with 28 seconds left in 2nd half and Dayton leading by 6. The #11 seeded Flyers went on to defeat WVU 68-60.

7. Raymond Sykes tries to deflect a pass from Manny Harris to DeShawn Sims during 1st half of Michigan's first round win over Clemson.

For more photos of Sykes from this game and others, please click on this link to the US Presswire website: http://uspresswire.com/search/fulltext/RAYMOND%20SYKES ..... If you don't have time to go through all the photos of Sykes, I insist that you at least take a look at one of them. There was a game last year against Miami in which Sykes played without his dreads banded together. Check out image 13 on page 2 for a really awesome photo from that game.
