Coyotes Lose to the Avalanche in OT
The Coyotes fired 45 pucks at the Avalanche goaltenders, Ed Jovanovksi scoring the tying goal with seconds to go in the third period, but the Avalanche scored in the overtime session. The Coyotes lose 4-3. Shane Doan spoke about missed opportunities and thought that the Coyotes could come away with a win. Martin Hanzal, Radim Vrbata, Mike York, Mike Zigomanis, and Steven Reinprecht all had assists. Derek Morris and Mathias Tjarnqvist scored the other goals for the Coyotes.
