Nease Panthers QB Ted Stachitas - Florida Times Union Super 24 Player of the Year

Yes, the questions were answered. Nease quarterback Ted Stachitas proved to all with the past two seasons that he could lead the Panthers football team to the promise land. Before leading the Panthers to two straight State Championships though, people wondered if he could do anywhere close to how good former Nease QB star and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow did when he was the starter at Nease and lead the Panthers to their first State Championship win. After the past two seasons though, he seem to have answered all questions about him and his Panther team. And now he has earned Player of the Year honors and a football scholarship to Wake Forest. With the Player of the Year award, he also earns a spot on the Super 24 Team, which is the top 24 players from the North Florida region. Also joining him from the Nease Panthers on the team are linebacker Riley Haynes and defensive tackle Ramon Booi, who are also going to Wake Forest with Stachitas on a football scholarships. Congratulations to all three athletes, and I hope they all excel on the next level.
