Was widespread blogger coverage of the "Berman videos" responsible for Boomer being booted from this year's ESPN coverage of The Masters? Sports By Brooks thinks so.

The New York Post today reported that "Chris Berman will not be involved whatsoever in ESPN's early-round Masters coverage this year."

Thank you, bloggers! I wish ESPN would remove Mr. Big Mouth from all of their major sports coverage. He adds nothing to most sports discussions and his nicknames for players are not all that creative as he thinks. I don't think of him when I think of the great announcers and quite frankly I think of him as just an arrogant, self-promoting jerk.
