The BearDown:
Perhaps you have heard the news. Tiger Woods' Apple Core is being sold on EBay to some lucky winner. On the 16th hole of the U.S Open playoff Tiger Calmly bit into an apple, then came back from being down one to force a Sudden Death ending to his 18 hole playoff with Rocco Mediate. He played in one of the greatest Opens of all time on a bum leg and is now on the shelf for the rest of the year. Amazing tournament, that led to the lowest work production across the county in years. He ended up winning there, all because of a single apple. The single greatest sports memoribila item EVER. This Four Year Old Cancer Survivor is Better than you at Golf
This kid is already much better than you at golf, and he is four years old, and he battled cancer. While I was wondering why, Pidge, the green lion from voltron was such a pussy, this guy was honing his golf skills in between bouts of chemotherapy. The best part of the entire story is that he has never had a lesson, he just watched Tiger Woods on TV and tried to emulate his swing. Amazing.

Happy New Year: 2007's Greatest Hits
One of the few things I share in common with Tiger Woods is my birthday, which is the oft-overlooked December 30th. Nice enough day on the face of things, and generally just about at replacement level, as these things go. Nevertheless, as I've gotten older and older, the turning over of the calendar ...

Tiger sends JB Holmes home in an insane match
Man I still can’t believe how strange the match was between Tiger Woods and JB Holmes at the WCC-Accenture Match Play today. After 13 holes JB was up three and looking good. Everything was going wrong for Tiger. He was slipping on his tee shots, falling backwards and blocking drives way out ...
Who is the Hottest Wife/Girlfriend in Sports?
In a thrashing rarely seen in this tournament Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren (3) planted a high, hard one upset the noggin' of our #29 seed Anna Benson, wife of hurler Kris.
We're now down to the final two match-ups of round two as Tom Brady's lady Gisele Bundchen (2) goes to the plate to face our #36 seed Laura Posada, wife of Yankees catcher Jorge. Who moves on to...
Tiger Wins Again...
As much as I like Tiger Woods as an athelete I was cheering for Stewart Cink today during the playoff at Firestone. You know Tiger will be here again but Cink I wasn't sure so I wanted to see him win. That would have been great.
But, as I think will be the norm for the next several tournaments a...

Today’s photo of Tim Tebow with a random hottie is brought to you by the fine folks at Hooters of Gainesvile, Fla.:
Like PGA Tour golfers being asked incessantly about Tiger Woods, you would think the Florida Gators get a little weary of being overshadowed by underaged Heisman Trophy taker. So...

Dykstra's "Fucking Out!" A former editor of Players Club poorly portrayed the periodicals founder, Lenny Dykstra, a 4-time All-Star on the baseball diamond, in this month’s edition of GQ Magazine. Kevin Coughlin, who is currently employed as a photo editor at the New York Post, provided a nightmarish account of the 67 days he worked for Dykstra, 46, a fan favorite when he played...
Tiger Graduates From ‘Tee Ball’
Braves star pitcher John Smoltz and all-universe golfer Tiger Woods go way back. Smoltz and other Braves often tag along during Spring Training to play a few holes with Tiger — like this past Monday, for instance, when Smoltz, Tom Glavine and Jeff Francoeur traded drives and putts with Tiger on...
ESPN Finally Puts Their $17 Mil To Good Use, Gives Reilly His Own Show
I don't think I've seen Rick Reilly on ESPN's airwaves since the PGA Championship, but that's not stopping ESPN from giving their 5-year, 17+ million dollar man, his own show. Beginning this Friday, Reilly will be sitting down with various stars for a six-part series called "Homecoming" on ESPN2. The craziest part about the interviews....they're going...
