The first ever elite juniors European tournament is set to be held in Scotland starting May 27th 2008. 34 different nations will be competing in the tournament where the youngest players are seven and the oldest are fourteen. It is the first time the US Kids Golf Foundation, an organisation started in 2001 to boost youth golf in America, has held an event in Europe. If it ends up being a success which i highly think it would, it is set to be held in Scotland every year. The courses that these child prodigies will be playing on include Gullane, Craigielaw, Kilpindsie and Luffness.
