Golfer Bubba Watson picked up what he calls his dream car at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction this weekend. We wouldn’t find that terribly notable, except Watson bought himself a General Lee. It’s not just any General Lee, either. It’s Lee 1, which is the car that jumped over the Hazzard County police cruiser in the first episode of The Dukes of Hazzard, perhaps the finest television show to ever grace the airwaves. Here’s the rundown from Auto Blog. If you’ve ever seen the opening credits, you know the car we’re talking about… it flew 16 feet in the air over a distance of 82 feet.
