Final tidbits and notes from the 2009 Tour Championship

The 2009 Tour Championship is in the books, and we're wringing out the notebook to close out the week. Still waiting for Tiger Woods to share some of his lucre, but no luck yet. Anyway, here are a few last tidbits from the tourney. Enjoy.• I don't know how to do it exactly, but the Gordian Knot of FedEx Cup "scenarios" has to be cut somehow. It was impossible for the fans on-site to follow, but I understand that they're the least of the PGA Tour's concerns. But there has to be a simpler way to track who's up and who's down than the current "If Tiger finishes T3 and Steve Stricker finishes T2 or better and the rooster crows at dawn ... " system. But that's a topic for another day.• My email inbox filled up on Sunday and Monday with "JOHNNY MILLER JUST SAID NEGRO KNUCKLEBALL" missives, and since I was on the course and consulting the ol' iPhone, I could do nothing but smile at the thought of a post that would blow...
