PLAYERS: Fred Couples
PGA and Champions Tour fan-favorite Freddy Couples has a second home away from the golf course now.  Couples recently purchased a Spanish colonial in Brentwood, California.  Our friends at Trulia, used such words like “beau detailing”, “loggia” and “sweeping staircase” to basically say that Couples’ house doesn’t suck. The stats don’t lie.  The new crib has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and roughly 5,661 square feet…roughly.  It has a resort-like pool area and a guesthouse.  But the best features are the interior walls that chant “Freddy, Freddy, Freddy” as he walks down the hallways. Couples paid $4,557,000.
