You know you have some sports moments in your lifetime that you remember so vividly that it’s just kind of strange? That’s exactly how I feel about the Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas showdown in 1990. I mean I know where I was, who I was with, and even what I was eating.
I don’t want to bore you with those details but I can tell you I was almost 11 and I was absolutely heart broken. Tyson’s one of those guys that you just thought was untouchable back then. Guy used to win fights before they even started. I equate Tiger Woods in the early 2000s to that.
Anyway, here’s the video of the knockout. It’ll make you sad.

Tiger Woods is as good as he ever was, but he’ll never be as good as he once was. Woods is the victim of himself -- through no fault of his own. Allow me to explain. 2009 was the last time the public saw Woods playing golf at a level even close to what they’d come to expect of the then-33-year-old, as he won six times -– and finished second three more times -– in 18 tournaments...

Bo Van Pelt
BETHESDA, Md. -- Congressional reopened its gates Sunday to thousands of spectators who got what they expected in the AT&T National - another win by Tiger Woods. Only this win didn't follow a typical script. Caught in a tense duel with Bo Van Pelt on another sweltering day, it looked as though Woods blinked first until Van Pelt matched him with mistakes of his own. Woods...
While the golf world likes to pretend it's better off in the days of post-Tiger Woods dominance, the facts say otherwise. Woods won his third event of the year on Sunday, shooting a 2-under 69 and at the same time showing that he'll forever be golf's biggest draw. The AT&T National coverage on Sunday by CBS brought in a 4.6 overnight rating, which is 171 percent above...
