Phil Mickelson has set the record for Ryder Cup appearances by a U.S. player. Mickelson is playing in his ninth Ryder Cup, pairing with Keegan Bradley in the morning foursomes Friday. That breaks the appearance record Mickelson shared with Lanny Wadkins, Ray Floyd and Billy Casper. Mickelson is the most experienced player on the U.S. team, playing in every Ryder Cup team since 1995. The four-time major champion has a record of 11-17-6 in the Ryder Cup.

Ian Poulter, eyes bulging and fists shaking with every clutch putt, at least gave Europe a lot of momentum over the final frantic hour Saturday at Medinah. Right when it looked as if the Americans were a lock to win back the cup, Poulter birdied...

Five best partnerships in the Ryder Cup

The best players don't always make the best partners in the Ryder Cup. It worked for Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, not so much for Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. U.S. captain Hal Sutton made partners out of Woods and Mickelson, rivals on and off the golf course, and the experiment failed miserably as they lost both matches. Overlooked was the fact that Woods was in the middle...

Keegan Bradley compares Ryder Cup atmosphere to Patriots game

If anyone has set the tone for the Ryder Cup this year it's Keegan Bradley.  The St. John's alum might be the perfect person to lead the U.S. over Europe in the 39th Ryder Cup and he got started yesterday. The rookie was paired with veteran Phil Mickelson and together the two lefties looked like a couple of kids on the last day at school. Bradley's exuberance and clutch...
