USA Sports 360:
Phil Mickelson was right where he wanted to be toady in Augusta, playing in the last group at the Masters a tournament Phil could have won for the fourth time if things went his way today. Mickelson started out with a par at number one, a par at number two, when he made par it was like he just gave the field a stroke. It would be at number four a par three in which the major mistake took place and Phil gave away his chance to claim his fourth green jacket. Mickelson would pull his tee shot right of the green and he was dead with his ball buried under the over-growth leaving Mickelson very little to do.
Mickelson could have taken an UN-playable lie and taken himself back to the tee to hit his third shot which more than likely would have found the green. In true Mickelson style Phil wouldn’t go for that, he took a out a club and turned it upside-down to use it as a right handed player and proceeded to try and chop his ball free from the over-growth right of the number four green. Whatever anyone may think of their gender politics, it's undeniable that at the Masters, they stage the greatest show in sports.
That much was obvious after golf's most thrilling tournament was won, fittingly, by maybe its most thrilling player on an action-packed, sun-soaked Easter Sunday afternoon.
Bubba Watson is a one-of-a-kind.
He's never had a golf lesson in...
Someone wise once said, “It’s not where you start, but where you finish.” Telling words for all athletes and other professionals who have to endure heartache and failure to be able to achieve success. The road for professional athletes to stardom aren’t always the easiest paths to walk. A lot of athletes are given great athletic abilities from God, but they have to work to...

Masters Champion and all around good dude Bubba Watson Tweeted this earlier today - ”Up early can’t sleep, don’t want to miss any part of being a dad & going to get a new cell phone number! It’s crazy how people get ur number”…I’m glad Louis Oosthuizen didn’t find a way to win, dude doesn’t even have a twitter…Congrats Bubba.-TO
Bubba Watson has won the Master’s. Before he took home the green jacket, he got himself another prize; that he could use for a possible parade lap.
NASCAR and track officials canceled plans to have pro golfer Bubba Watson drive the car from the television series “The Dukes of Hazzard” at Phoenix International Raceway because of concerns about a negative reaction to the infamous...
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist The Masters began for Phil Mickelson earlier than anyone else, while most were wolfing down scrambled eggs in the clubhouse or still fast asleep in their beds. Slipping on a green jacket in the harsh early morning light, he headed to the first hole to cheer on the ceremonial tee shots of players whose names are etched into...
Bubba Watson wins 2012 Masters by beating Louis Oosthuizen in a playoff with a ridiculous second shot to set up a birdie on the second playoff hole.
Watson was unable to see the green from where he was standing but curled a shot from out of the pine straw and onto the 10th green to set up his first major victory.
Watson and Oosthuizen finished regulation at 10 under 278.
We always have fun on SILVERMAN: On Sports and tonight was no exception. Bubba Watson, Bubba Watson, Bubba Watson. The Georgia Bulldog is your 2012 Masters champion!
There was a great article by the Sporting News exposing Urban Meyer for the fraud that he is and we not only discussed it, but we actually had a caller that graduated from University of Florida that could not defend...
Bubba Watson, the Georgia boy who's never taken a golf lesson or studied his own swing in his life, birdied four holes on the back nine to rally and win The Masters in a two hole playoff against Louis Oosthuizen.
PGA professional Peter Hanson unloads with a driver on the 8th hole yesterday and strikes a spectator in the head. I know this had to hurt and hope dude is ok but pretty funny to watch him hit the ground.-TO

Masters Champion Bubba Watson Excited To Be A Dad
Louis Oosthuizen on heartbreaking loss to Bubba Watson at Masters.
Despite a thrilling finish that saw Bubba Watson storm to the lead on the back nine and eventually defeat Louis Oosthuizen on the second playoff hole, overnight ratings for The Masters on CBS were down 22% from last year, finishing with an 8.1 rating. That is the lowest rating since the 2004 tournament, which drew a 7.3.

This is why we watch sports. For the train wrecks, the surreal, and the unimaginable.
Bobby Petrino gets in a motorcycle wreck probably crossing train tracks. The wreck is bad, but the cover-up becomes worse.
It’s the kind of stuff that would be hard to write for a screenplay. The least likely scenario turns into a can-you-believe-it soap opera with deception at every turn.
A rowdy fan at the Masters attempted to bring home a cup of Augusta National sand, but instead wound up trapped.
According to The Augusta Chronicle, Scott Gay, a 40-year-old man from Ohio, walked onto the iconic course on an undisclosed hole following Sunday's final round and tried to fill a cup with sand from a bunker.
He was quickly apprehended by security after a short chase...
