Having a shot somehow land on a sprinkler head? Sending a ball into a water hazard, but having it fall on one of the few playable patches in the wet? Sounds like a typical day on the golf course. Shawn Stefani got to experience the classic bad luck-turned-good luck (and maybe bad luck again) all in one play at the TPC San Antonio. After he saw his ball take a wild hop into the air and down into a water hazard thanks to a sprinkler head, he was able to chip out thanks to the fortuitous place his ball landed in the water. His putting, however, left a little more to be desired, and he merely recorded par for the hole. Check it out in the video below.

Cardale Jones responds to Joakim Noah's trash talk

The Joakim Noah vs. Ohio State feud has escalated to another level.  As we wrote earlier, the Chicago Bulls’ big man mouthed “you ain’t in the SEC” to Buckeye quarterback Cardale Jones at his team’s playoff game in Cleveland Wednesday night. OSU four-star linebacker Justin Hilliard then trolled Noah on Twitter.  We now have what we really wanted, though: a response...

Cavs show requisite desperation to make this a series

Hit us up on Twitter @CrossoverNBA Chalk another one up to the stink of desperation. Desperation in all forms of life is an un-manufacturable (fake arse word) thing. It’s the fight or flight situation in real life, or in the case of sports, the thing that makes you play like your very soul is on the line. That’s what the Cleveland Cavs had to do tonight, and you know what...

WATCH: Gronk tells media you can deflate deez nuts

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is apparently fed up with the media’s coverage of Deflate-gate. Speaking up about how the media hounded him following a charity event he took part in on Wednesday, the charismatic Super Bowl champion had one message for the media. And one message only. So yes, he wants us to deflate something other than a football. You can use...

The Big 12 football’s new tiebreaker procedure

In 2014, the Big 12 had two of the best teams in the country in Baylor and TCU. The Bears and Horned Frogs finished the season with one loss each, and played one of the most entertaining games of the year—a 61-58 Baylor win in Waco. When it came to choose the four team College Football Playoff field, however, the conference’s two powerhouses were both left at the altar in favor...

The Pittsburgh Pirates’ season should turn around soon

Following two straight NL Wild Card berths, expectations were high for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2015. But thusfar, those expectations haven’t been realized. Through the first month of the season, the Pirates are 12-14, eight games back of the white-hot St. Louis Cardinals in the NL Central. But because of how top-heavy the National League is this season, the Pirates are solidly...

Sanchez absolutely believes he can win Eagles starting gig

As Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach Chip Kelly announced last week, there will be a quarterback competition in Philly which will include a battle between Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez and even Tim Tebow. However, the last quarterback to officially play in the lead role was Sanchez who started for the Eagles’ last eight games in 2014. Probably feeling somewhat territorial, Sanchez...
