Forget the talk of whether Tiger is “back.”  Nobody will ever be back to the days of when Tiger Woods was big pimpin’ and winning majors left and right like it was his job. Now that the women seem to be gone, Tiger must resort to only being No. 1 on the money list and in the FedEx Cup standings. The major wins may or may not come back.

But, shots like this one Thursday during the first round of the British Open will help them come back.  On the par-4 12th hole, Woods found himself with a disastrous lie along the ridge in a green-side bunker.  Tiger being Tiger (only without all the ladies) pulled out a wedge, got down on a knee and hit a one-legged chip that only Tiger Woods (and maybe Shooter McGavin) could hit.

Despite being in Scotland, Woods was able to put enough English on it so it wouldn’t run past the hole.

5 Comments:
  • Ultimately, white women screw everything up. High maintenance, mouthy, opinionated and self righteous. Tiger needs to do what his daddy did and find himself a respectful woman that doesn't speak english and keeps her mouth shut.
  • It wasn't the white woman that screwed Tiger up it was Tiger that screwed Tiger up, he couldn't keep it i his pants
  • Anyone...and I mean...anyone other than Woods...please win this Open.
Time to put the Scottish golf curse upon Woods...'May his (Woods') ball become a gorse getting, heather seeking, fescue finding, bunker plugging missile from which finding the bottom of the hole in less than bogey will be an exercise in futility.'
  • So tell me, who pissed in your cereal this morning? You may not like him, but he is still the best player out there, at this time.
  • IMO, the references to the "women" didn't need to be made. A good shot is a good shot regardless of who makes it. The other 2 comments are nonsense.

Games starting at 10pm ET? Ridiculous. Staying up until after midnight does no fan any good, and it’s all ESPN’s fault The evil four-letter network is ruining the games we all love. At least those are some of the rants we’ve heard from fans in the past regarding football and basketball game times fit to television windows and not fan convenience. After Tuesday night’s loss...

Fred Jackson has 'no respect' for Donte Whitner

Former Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner, now a member of the Cleveland Browns, faces his old team this Sunday, but it certainly looks like he'll be getting no love from the Bills' home crowd, and especially not from running back Fred Jackson. Jackson went sour on Whitner after the Browns safety joked on Twitter about the team, up for sale at the time, moving to Canada...

Jerry Jones: I'm a big admirer of Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin III may have worn out his welcome in D.C., but he has a huge fan in Dallas.
