YouTube Forget the talk of whether Tiger is “back.”  Nobody will ever be back to the days of when Tiger Woods was big pimpin’ and winning Majors left and right like it was his job. Now that the women seem to be gone, Tiger must resort to only being number one on the money list and in the FedEx Cup standings.  The Major wins may or may not come back. But, shots like this one Thursday during the first round of the British Open will help them come back.  On the par 4 12th hole, Woods found himself with a disasterous lie along the ridge in a green-side bunker.  Tiger being Tiger (only without all the ladies) pulled out a wedge, got down on a knee and hit a one-legged chip that only Tiger Woods (and maybe Shooter McGavin) hits. Despite being in Scotland, Woods was able to put enough English on it so it wouldn’t run passed the hole.

  • Ultimately, white women screw everything up. High maintenance, mouthy, opinionated and self righteous. Tiger needs to do what his daddy did and find himself a respectful woman that doesn't speak english and keeps her mouth shut.
  • It wasn't the white woman that screwed Tiger up it was Tiger that screwed Tiger up, he couldn't keep it i his pants
  • Anyone...and I mean...anyone other than Woods...please win this Open.
Time to put the Scottish golf curse upon Woods...'May his (Woods') ball become a gorse getting, heather seeking, fescue finding, bunker plugging missile from which finding the bottom of the hole in less than bogey will be an exercise in futility.'
  • So tell me, who pissed in your cereal this morning? You may not like him, but he is still the best player out there, at this time.
  • IMO, the references to the "women" didn't need to be made. A good shot is a good shot regardless of who makes it. The other 2 comments are nonsense.

Governor donates $10K to UNM hoops star’s cancer charity

Breast cancer is a very personal topic for University of New Mexico basketball star Hugh Greenwood. His mother is battling the disease, and just last week, Greenwood called out a Twitter troll who made horrific jokes about his mom’s illness as the source of motivation behind a 22-point, eight-rebound performance in a win over UNLV. Greenwood’s decision to admonish the Twitter...

Hope Solo isn’t going to waltz back into the United States women’s national soccer team picture unless dancing is one of the items on the “To Do” list that the U.S. Soccer Federation gave her.     U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati and women’s national team head coach Jill Ellis also said Tuesday that Solo must take a number of steps in order to complete her suspension...

K.J. Wright: Targeting injured players 'unacceptable'

Seattle Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright isn’t too happy with his former teammate Brandon Browner. Earlier in the week, Browner told his current New England teammates to attempt to hurt injure Seahawks’ players Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas in the Super Bowl. Wright had this to say regarding Browner’s remarks (via ESPN). I didn’t know he said that, but we don’t play...

Bill Simmons fires a shot at ESPN colleague Ray Lewis

You know how this one sets up. Boston Sports Guy Bill Simmons is a huge Patriots fan.  ESPN analyst and former Ravens LB Ray Lewis has been smack talking the Patriots throughout the postseason and even said the team deserved an asterisk for cheating.  So inevitably, Bill Simmons would tweet out a shot at Ray Lewis and start another firestorm of ESPN on ESPN violence.  Thankfully...

Which teams are most squarely on the bubble?

It’s January 27. Super Bowl week also marks the run-up to college basketball insanity. League titles for the most part will be won or lost in the month of February. Contenders and pretenders will show themselves with road wins and home losses. It’s part of what makes the sport so much fun. A large part of the debate doesn’t revolve around who the best teams are, especially...

Jerry Rice: Asterisk needed if Patriots win Super Bowl

Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice is the latest former NFL player to come out and question whether a potential New England Patriots victory in Super Bowl XLIX would be legitimate. “I think you have to really put an asterisk on it (a Super Bowl win), because this is going to follow them, you know, for the rest of their lives, because when you look at it, when people go back...
