This week's stop on the PGA Tour is the Wells Fargo Championship from Charlotte, North Carolina. Last year's champion was decided in sudden death when former Clemson teammates Lucas Glover and Jonathan Byrd tied in regulation when Byrd birdied the final hole. In the playoff, Glover drove the middle of the fairway and hit the green in regulation while Byrd went from the fairway bunker to the hazard left of the green. Two putts later, Glover had won his first tournament since his win in the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black. This year, both Glover and Byrd will be back although Glover's campaign has been cut short by a knee injury he sustained prior to the first tournament of the year. Glover and Bryd will be joined by a star studded field that includes Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan and a host of international players looking to get ready for next week's PLAYERS Championship.
