Muirfield Village is currently scheduled to host the 2013 Presidents Cup, but beyond the matches in two years, the PGA Tour had yet to announce where the 2015 event would be played. That all changed on Wednesday, however, as PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem announced South Korea would be hosting the '15 Presidents Cup.
"The players on the International team, in coming together and being able to compete against the United States team, want the Cup to be staged at a place where it could be considered a home-court game, if you will," Finchem said during a press conference.
The "home-court" advantage he's talking about has everything to do with Y.E. Yang, K.J. Choi and K.T. Kim, three South Koreans that happen to make up twenty-five percent of Greg Norman's Presidents Cup roster.
