The PGA Tour heads to Hilton Head, South Carolina for this week's stop, The RBC Heritage. The Harbor Town Golf Links is home to the famed red and white striped lighthouse that serves as the backdrop for the 18th hole. Throughout this tournament's storied history, the likes of Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Bernhard Langer, Johnny Miller, Greg Norman, Nick Price, Tom Watson, Davis Love III, and the late Payne Stewart, have been crowned champion and donned the plaid jacket that goes to the winner. Last year's event went to an unexpected playoff when Brandt Snedeker posted a surprising 7-under 64 to take the lead in the clubhouse nearly two hours before the leaders finished their rounds. Luke Donald, playing in the final pair, forced a playoff by making two difficult pars on the 71st and 72nd holes. Donald and Snedeker dueled for three sudden-death holes with both making birdie on the first playoff hole and both making par on the second. Then it was back to the signature 18th hole where Snedeker had secured a par and Donald needed to chip in from about 15 feet to force another playoff hole. But Donald's chip hit the back of the cup and bounced away, giving Snedeker an improbable win. Snedeker will be back to defend his crown along with early commitments Donald, Jim Furyk, Padraig Harrington, Matt Kuchar, Bill Haas and Ernie Els.
