PLAYERS: Rory Mcilroy

Rory McIlroy is undoubtedly the best golfer in the world right now. And he was part of the thrilling European coming back trailing 10-6 heading into yesterday’s singles matches against the Americans at the Ryder Cup. During the European celebration when they were out in the parking lot it caused them a moment to stop and recognize greatness was in their presence, with Michael Jordan. Most of the players ran up to him shaking and or hugging him.

Except, McIlroy who decided to pull of a great stunt by taking a huge team European flag and draping it over MJ’s car. Check out the video:

Donald, McIlroy want Ryder Cup to count for time

Now that the Ryder Cup is over, Luke Donald sets out to complete his European Tour schedule. He has played 10 tournaments that count toward the required 13 events he must play, although he raised one point that Europe might want to consider. Why shouldn't the Ryder Cup count? The U.S. PGA Tour for years has counted the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup toward its minimum 15 events...
