It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
Sergio Garcia will not finish the Arnold Palmer Invitational Monday after his last round was postponed by rain (he was 15 shots off the lead). But on Sunday at Bay Hill, he won the “Niftiest Shot of the Tournament” award that could possibly hold up for the whole year. Garcia’s tee shot on the tenth hole found itself come to rest some 15 feet in an oak tree at the base of two large limbs. Rather than take yet another stroke – he took a nine on the par-5 sisth — Sergio scaled the tree and hit a one-handed shot back toward the fairway.
Garcia release a statement on his website that his left shoulder and Achilles tendon were hurt and he did not want to risk doing more damage by finishing six holes on Monday. During the shot, Garcia leaned hard on his left shoulder and tried to balance himself on one foot. After being unable to do so, he wrapped his left arm around a limb to swat at the shot back-handed, as you’ll see below.
According to the statement, when Garcia was i...

I watched this commercial prior to having any cups of coffee, so please excuse me as it hasn’t fully processed yet. I do believe I just watched Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods starring in a commercial for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 fighting a bunch of folks and Lee Trevino showing up in time for a groin finisher. If the Internet doesn’t break in some form or another over this I...
This is easily the most bizarre thing that I have ever seen in a golf tournament. At #10 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Sergio Garcia hit his drive and his ball got stuck in a tree. Rather than take a penalty for an unplayable ball, Garcia climbed up into the tree to try and hit a shot.
When he got up there, he actually hit an incredible shot. To turn your club backwards...
Unlike most people you’ve seen climbing trees on golf courses, Sergio Garcia has not taken any LSD or finished an…

This is probably the most athleticism you’ll see out of a golfer.

Sergio Garcia made one of the wildest golf shots we have seen, and it took place during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational Sunday.
Garcia’s tee shot on the 10th hole ended up in a tree, so he climbed the tree to locate the ball which was stuck between branches. He grabbed hold of a branch to his left and backhanded a shot that knocked the ball back onto the fairway...
Yep, it’s certain. I’ve seen it all. This morning at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Sergio Garcia landed his ball in a tree, AND PLAYED IT WHERE IT LIED!!! Move over Mickelson, this is flying to the top of the list of amazing oddball golf shots. Good play, Sergio!
He needs a tree iron.

This whole clip of Sergio Garcia hitting a ball out of a tree on the 10th hole during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational is amazing, but long, so feel free to start watching at the 3:00 mark.
Garcia hit his second shot on the par 4 into a tree where it lodged itself at the intersection of some branches about ten feet into the air.
Instead of taking a one-stroke penalty...
In the annals of golf history, I don't think we've seen a shot like that one that PGA tour pro Sergio Garcia pulled off in the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
After the first shot on the 10th hole, Sergio's ball got stuck in a tree near the fairway and instead of taking a penalty, Garcia decided to take his second shot backwards while straddling a couple...
Woods and fellow legend Arnold Palmer team up for this EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour '14 commercial, which is probably one of the greatest spots ever put together.
Sergio Garcia might want to change his name to Tarzan.
Garcia provided an amazing highlight Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational when he climbed some 15 feet into an oak tree and played a shot back out to the fairway.
The Spaniard already was having a rough time at Bay Hill -- he made a 9 on the par-5 sixth hole -- when his tee shot at No. 10 sailed right into the trees. Not...
