...we need to take a little swipe at Doc. I know we had some foul trouble tonight, and we need some defensive-minded guards to matchup with Detroit, but I didn't like him playing Tony Allen tonight. Some guys can sit on the bench for 3 weeks, then come in and make a positive impact. Tony Allen isn't one of them. He looked rusty, and worse, he just looked overmatched out there. He was on the court for less than 5 minutes, but in that short amount of time he managed to total up a +/- rating of -10. Perhaps he want to get his legs warmed up for later in the series, but I would've stuck with Posey. Overall, Boston played a sloppy game, and virtually handed Detroit the victory with stupid plays and too many fouls. If we can right that ship (and with this veteran team, I don't see why we can't), I'm confident we can stroll into Detroit and walk away with at least one victory, and probably two.
