Steve Stricker wouldn't mind Tiger Woods returning the favor.
Stricker spent nearly an hour working on Woods' putting at Doral, and the lesson paid immediate dividends. Woods had a superb week on the greens and has won his last two tournaments. Now if only Stricker can get Woods to show him how to win a green jacket.
The Masters is the only major in which Stricker has never been in serious contention. He was runner-up in the PGA Championship, playing in the final group at the British Open and was tied for the lead with nine holes left in a U.S. Open.
The guy known for his pure putting has never been able to figure out Augusta National. Stricker played 14 holes of practice with Woods when he arrived.

He's got a swing he can finally trust, a putter that shows flashes of the old magic, and a string of wins to prove that it's all finally coming together.

"He has not won a major in (five) years ... if he figures it out here, it will...
Rory McIlroy on Tuesday nominated 1997 and 2005 as the most memorable Masters tournaments he has watched on television.

No prizes for knowing that they were both won by Tiger Woods.

He grew up in Northern Ireland as a...

This past weekend, legendary swing coach Hank Haney was in the DC area promoting his junior golf academy, the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy. I was lucky enough to sit down and chat with the man that coached Tiger Woods for about six years. We chat about many things including The Master’s, Rory McIlroy, Tiger, and most importantly, Five Guys burgers and fries.
