Tiger Woods is the greatest and most notable professional golfer of the modern era. Matt Kuchar sounds like something I’d order at the cafe in Whole Foods. They’re paired up in team competition at the President’s Cup.Tiger’s known for being difficult and generally humorless outside of those TV commercials that try to make him look like a human being, so it wouldn’t be a shock if he was all business and greeted Kuchar with a firm, socially-acceptable handshake before moving on. Surprisingly, the two seem to have quickly bonded. In fact, they’re such good pals that they’re already doing the handshake Will and Jazz did on ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.’See?Compare/contrast:I really hope the President’s Cup ends with Matt Kuchar being thrown out onto the lawn.[h/t to Shane Bacon]

Talk about a little squirrel love!
There are many similarities that exist between LeBron James and Tiger Woods. Due to their individual excellence in their respective professions, some similarities are not only noticeable at face value, there are others that simply can be inferred. One similarity that has no need to be inferred any longer is how both are suffering from […]The post Tiger Woods looks to be outpacing...
Matt Kuchar is the 10th player to have Tiger Woods as a partner in the Presidents Cup.
Woods and Kuchar are in the fifth of six matches, taking on Angel Cabrera and Marc Leishman in fourballs. This is the seventh Presidents Cup for Woods, and the second for Kuchar.
International captain Nick Price has put Jason Day and Graham DeLaet in the opening match against Hunter Mahan and...
I’m pretty sure this is the nerdiest possible way to pull this off but Tiger Woods and Matt Kuchar did the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff handshake. At least Tiger is having fun for once.
Pretty awesome photo of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jason Dufner kicking back and shooting the breeze during the Presidents Cup dinner on Wednesday. But more importantly, if Men’s Wearhouse ever were able to snag the three PGA superstars and have them agree to do an ad for the nationwide chain, this pretty much is […]The post Photo: If Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jason...
The Americans always rave about how much fun Tiger Woods is in the team room at international competitions.
That, however, has never really been evident to the masses, for whom he's invariably been all business on a golf course.
Woods might turn his golf hat back to front, crack open a beer and tell a few salty jokes to his teammates behind closed doors, but when the cameras...
The headline kind of sounds like the set-up line to a joke, doesn't it?
This really happened though.
We aren't sure how, but the day began with U.S President's Cup Captain Davis Love III befriending a wayward squirrel during a rain delay Thursday morning. Nobody knows how...or why they bonded, but they did.
But there's more.
Two things could be counted on for a Presidents Cup at Muirfield Village -- rain and the Americans in control.
Tiger Woods and Matt Kuchar remained undefeated with a 1-up win that came down to the last putt. Kuchar rolled in a 15-footer for birdie to hand Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama their first loss this week.
The Americans took four of the five matches in fourballs, with four...
Just yesterday we thought Tiger Woods was breaking out and showing his fun-loving self with his entertaining high-five, it was back to business at the Presidents Cup and that means no fraternizing with rodents.
Sammy the Squirrel found fame on Thursday when assistant coach Davis Love III found him near the second hole and adopted him so he wouldn’t get trampled. The Americans...
The signature 14th at Muirfield Village can be a birdie hole for Tiger Woods - and maybe even a once-a-month hacker.
It's all about the approach, and that will lead to a lot of strategy at this week's Presidents Cup.
Off the tee, it's a relatively easy long-to-middle iron to a generous fairway, the ball coming up just short of a pleasant brook that bisects the hole...
Tiger Woods will have a new partner in team competition at the Presidents Cup: Matt Kuchar. Woods has never played with Kuchar in team competition. At the last Presidents Cup two years ago in Australia, Woods was paired with Steve Stricker and Dustin Johnson. [Continue Reading]
That’s all well and good, but T.Woods might have a legitimate hair issue going on here.
Tiger Woods sat in a cart with a tiny squirrel resting on his shoulder. Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel walked onto the first tee wearing wigs to make up for their bad haircuts. Fred Couples had cupcakes delivered to him by the opposing captain in honor of his 54th birthday.
Opening day at the Presidents Cup was unlike any other Thursday at Muirfield Village.
Except for the...
Every step of the way in the amazing rookie season of Jordan Spieth brings more than he could have imagined.
And then he stepped to the 12th tee Wednesday at Muirfield Village.
It got even better.
Spieth and Steve Stricker, his partner for the opening session of the Presidents Cup, were already behind in an abbreviated match against Tiger Woods and Matt Kuchar, who had made two...
Davis Love III found this baby squirrel earlier in the day and had been hanging on to him during the 1st day of the President’s Cup. Love gave the squirrel over to Lindsey Vonn while they were watching the final groups play and Vonn placed the squirrel on Tiger Woods shoulder. As you can see, Tiger wanted nothing to do with the squirrel and freaked out a bit. The U.S. went...
