Woods shot a 70 at The Players Championship Thursday. That was about 20 shots better than some of you hoped.
"I was building toward this," Woods said.
Some of you hoped he was building toward quitting the game in disgust, sort of like his wife when it comes to marriage. I don't want him to quit since he's the world's leading source of easy columns. I wouldn't mind seeing him suffer a bit more, if for no other reason than to prove there is such a thing as karma.
