On a wild day of weather, the Americans stayed in control at the Presidents Cup.
Tiger Woods finally won a point Saturday morning, then couldn't buy a putt in the afternoon. Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson finally lost a match. And the temperatures plunged at Royal Melbourne as both teams struggled with tough conditions.
It finally ended with Jim Furyk as the only player to win all four of his matches when he teamed with Nick Watney to hold off Adam Scott and Ernie Els for a 1-up win.
That gave the Americans a 13-9 lead over the International team going into the 12 singles matches Sunday.
No team has ever come back from that deficit to win.
