According to a report recently published by US Weekly, the oft-speculated-but-unconfirmed budding relationship between Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn is “heating up.” This latest development in the “Are They or Aren’t They?” saga has been fueled in part by reports that the two have been spending some quality time with the other’s family. The rumors that the two high-profile athletes are more than friends were kicked up a notch last week after Tiger Woods reportedly dispatched his private jet to Austria to pick up Vonn and return her to the States after she suffered a devastating injury during a race. Vonn underwent surgery earlier this week and uploaded photos to her Facebook page and Twitter account showing her recovering in a hospital bed following the operation. Not surprisingly, Woods was not present in the photograph. But sources are telling US Weekly that the fact that both Vonn and Woods are hanging out with the other’s family members is an indication that the relationship, despite its hush-hush nature, might be reaching the next level. Not sure if I agree with the logic, but hey, I’m not trying to sell copies of the upcoming issue of US Weekly. The magazine reports that Vonn’s brother recently gave ski lessons to Tiger’s kids, daughter Sam, 5, and son Charlie, 4. So, you know, Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn must be dating. What other reason could there be, right? It’s not like friends associate with friend’s family members ever. Get with it, people. Furthermore, an “insider” tell US Weekly that “Their friendship slowly turned into a relationship.” The catalyst probably was those ski lessons Vonn’s brother gave to Tiger’s kids. That’s how it always goes down. Vonn has been forced to downplay her friendships with a male star athlete and deny romantic relationship rumors before when rumors that she, just like in this latest situation, was more than friends with then-Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow after she Tebowed after a race. Maybe Vonn has a little bit of Elaine Benes to her. Like Kramer said about Elaine: “You’re a man’s woman. You hate other women, and they hate you.” Perhaps Vonn is cut from the same cloth and her relationship with Tiger is purely platonic. But then again, her brother did give Tiger’s two children ski lessons…mustn’t forget about that pesky detail…   TweetThe post US Weekly: Relationship between Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn ‘heating up’ appeared first on Sportress of Blogitude.
