Most Eagles fans didn't have Missouri wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on their radar due to the simple reason he was projected to be a top ten pick. Maclin fell into the Eagles laps at 19 and it was time to get to know the electric player who may need a little polish.
Bob Ford educated us on Maclin's tough upbringing that was facilitated by another great family that helped step up in the parenting department when his troubled mother and missing father weren't there for him.
The former Mizzou star said the surrogate family that took him in meant the world to him and that the guidance he received from his two older brother's also helped shape him as a man.
