Thoughts, Prayers and Ponderings:
Upon hearing the tragic news concerning Amy Mickelson, PGA pro and fan favorite Phil Mickelson's beautiful wife I was once again reminded of the indifference cancer exhibits as it stakes it's savage claim in one individual after another. Amy and Phil are tremendously active in the preservation of opportunity to school children as their foundation" The Phil and Amy Mickelson Charitable Foundation directs; which in conjunction with Wal-Mart hosted a Quarter of a million dollar back to school shopping spree as part of the Foundations "Start Smart" program. The Mickelsons do not simply sit back and enjoy the winnings of one of golfs most successful athletes they give of their time, money and most of all, their love, genuine and sincere. Their "Start Smart" program alone has paved the way for millions of young children to participate in receiving an education which other-wise would not be afforded them. The image of Phil and Amy's two daughters running to their fathers waiting arms after winning a PGA event is undoubtedly etched into the minds and memories of many hundred of thousands viewers. A wonderfully giving family the Mickelson's are now are in need of prayers and healing; please assist them with such words of hope while amid your silent-time next, please send them energy through your quiet and possessed blessings.
