PGA golfer hits hole-in-one during practice round at US Open…on a PAR FOUR
Alvaro Quiros is a Spanish pro on the PGA Tour, and the 29-year old now has some serious bragging rights over his competition. In the history of the PGA (since 1916), there’s only been ONE recorded par-4 hole-in-one — at the 2001 Phoenix Open.
Unfortunately for Quiros, his shot came during a practice round for the US Open, so it doesn’t quite enter into that realm of history...
