Until now, the identity of the 16-year-old cheerleader who got beatdown by her squadmates had been concealed. But now hard-hitting newsbusters Inside Edition and People Magazine break the cone of secrecy.

Agreed - but i just love the fact that this girl was so embarrassed about it that she revealed herself to People and Inside Edition. That's only going to draw more attention to her. Sick all around.

They do not deserve this kind of attention. Shame on the media. I hope they rot, and when they come out of prison have everyone turn their backs on them in society where they have to sleep outside homeless and sell their bodies for $20 like the little sluts that they are.

I agree, those pictures just turned my stomach in knots, when I see that stuff it reminds me of eddie pollock, and exactly 30 minutes... It is just discusting... It makes me worried to death since me and my wife are having out first child.. Just thinking of what could happen... I wouldn't of wen't off if I was this girls dad .. I would of slammed them 2 little boys jail or no jail.
and those 6 girls while I was at it...

I saw some of the coverage of this on a morning program in the US - they showed some of the mobile footage. These girls seemed to think it was fair to beat the crud out of this lass because it was only one-on-one at any time. The fact six of them took it in turns and the two lads watched the door to keep anyone from hearing or seeing anything seems to have escaped them in terms of a 'fair fight'.

Lock 'em up and make it a good two or three years. Should give 'em time to think through what they did...

Kids get beat down all the time by other kids. The only reason this is receiving so much press is because the video was posted on Youtube. I'd like to see what the "victim" was saying on myspace.

It doesn't matter 6 at one time.... I mean the girl probably did fine with the first..But when you get these girls who are rested and just ready to fight there, is a problem there..No one deserves that kinda of treatment no matter what was said...Who cares what was said..It doesn't matter...6-1 come on...and 2 guys... This is just sick....
  • What ever happened to getting beat up when you were in high school? Have we become an entire society of pussies? I am not endorsing what these kids did, but c'mon- I know I got jumped a couple of times growing up and I promise those boys hit a hell of a lot harder than a bunch of friggin' cheerleaders!! Kids get in fights, how else are you supposed to learn how to defend yourself? They are kids for Christsakes- who made a really bad decision to jump some girl and an even stupider decision to videotape it- but you want everyone of these kids to have their entire lives ruined forever? I just don't know what is to become of our country... I guess we are all going to have to live in protected little germ and injury-free bubbles where no one says or does anything that ever offends or hurts anyone else... give me a break...

Quick question if that was your child on you tube how would you feel... There Girl might not ever have full hearing again in her left ear, and not counting she may never have great vision again... Come one... are you serious... these boys watched the door to make sure no one was coming...Counted exactly 30 minutes like it was a big joke or something...Your telling me if this happened this instance... to your daughter or son... You would be fine with it... These people might have ruined this girls life..How many careers, require good hearing and visual quite alot..

Apparently the girl said something on my space..So when she got to the house one girl let her in the rest hid in the kitchen... then the 6 girls took turns fighting her one on one... and the boys held the door shut and looked out... and they posted it on you tube..

for something she said on myspace?!?! wow i wish i knew what she said... mayb for a second i could understand! thats just terrible!
  • Reds1214 - I agree with you. If it were my daughter, I probably would have already taken those two boys to town myself. Like I said, I don't condone the behavior of these girls and I am sincerely sorry for the young lady who got beat up, especially if she has some lasting physical difficulties (although I woud be interested to see in a few months if that turns out to be the case). My only point is lets not treat this like some 'crime against humanity'. The offending girls and boys shouldn't be charged as adults and have to spend years of their very young lives inside prison walls- where I am sure they will learn how to deal with their problems in a much more civil and non-violent way. Not to mention with adult criminal convinctions on their record, they are all but certain to face enormous problems getting a job or going ito college, and thereby becoming less and less productive citizens. Right? That'll teach em !

you make a great point! i don't think they should go to jail, but i do think they need to be punished through extensive community service! preferably dealing with domestic violence victims... that might open their eyes to what they did! sitting in jail will just turn these kids in to bigger criminals! sad story for all parties involved.

You have a point there... This article just discust me though.... I hate hearing about these types of things... I mean think of how it could of turned out.... I hope the publicity that this situation got doesn't spur copy cats. I am afraid this won't be the last of this kind of video on youtube. Those kids all need help and a good ration of justice.
