Kentucky Derby Predictions

It's time to make some Derby selections. The 134th running of the Kentucky Derby is this Saturday. We've got wonder-colt Big Brown breaking from the extreme outside in a field of 20. Who should you bet on in the "greatest 2 minutes in sports?" The Aspiring Horseplayer is back once again with analysis, selections, and advice.

I don't know anything about horses, so here's my analysis. Big Brown comes in undefeated, like the Patriots. He'll lose. Pyro had a 10th place collapse in his last race. Sounds like the 2007 New York Mets. He'll lose. Since all the other horses seem to be longshots (at least based on their current betting odds), I'll go with Colonel John.
