BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Helio Castroneves cruised around Miami in his Lamborghini Gallardo. Tony Kanaan's automobile pastime (more passion actually) has at times in the past few years included various Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes and BMW models. Ryan Briscoe? He enjoys his Smart car. "Those guys have a lot more money than I do," joked Briscoe, a Team Penske teammate of Castroneves who calls Mooresville, N.C., home. "I had been thinking about it for a while. I like the looks of it, especially the BRABUS-tuned one. It has the alloy wheels and sports suspension (lowering the car by 10 millimeters). "It drives great, too. You don't want to go long distances with it, but just for getting around town it's a lot of fun and turns a lot of heads." Briscoe also has a Honda Ridgeline for errands and an Acura TL, which he concedes primarily is his wife Nicole's car.
