Buckeye freshman running back Jordan Hall is turning heads in Columbus. In the past two weeks, Hall has carried the ball and shows promise. Against Toledo, he carried the ball 7 times for 48 yards, for a 6.3 average. Against Illinois, he had 7 carries for 22 yards, a 3.1 average. His field vision and strength will make him an asset as he takes a more active role in Ohio State’s run game. Coach Tressel has been impressed with his worth ethic and commitment to learn the offense. This week in the road game against Indiana, Hall’s hard work is sure to payoff as he sees an increase in playing time with the injury to Boom Herron. Herron suffered an ankle injury against Illinois and will not play this week in Indiana.
Hall’s 2009 classmate Jaamal Berry continues to rehab an injury and may make the trip to Indiana this week.
