Go time

Well, here we are ladies and gentlemen....We are now just a day away from the first round of the NLL playoffs for the San Jose Stealth. We just finished going through our film and practice and will be preparing ourselves lastly with a team dinner. We seem to be a focused bunch, as in the NLL there is no tomorrow. It is simple....win or go home.

We have the Portland Lumberjacks at home tomorrow at the Sharktank at 3pm. They have beaten us the last two meetings, but we are ready to go!! The one game playoff format makes every playoff game a game seven, so everyone must be ready to play. Each mistake is huge, and every turn of momentum takes on a life of its own. I do believe we are ready for this game tomorrow, and tonight it will be very hard to get a good night sleep, but I really do live for these games, so I will be ready to go.

I fully expect a tough game tomorrow, and from here on in there will be no "easy" games. If we expect to go on, we must bring our best, smartest game.

Here is to hoping we are up for the challenge.

Stay tuned.....

Good luck, Colin. A few of us from the Yard are headed down to SJ for the game. Really looking forward to it.

Good Luck from all your Toronto fans. We will be cheering the Stealth on.

Good luck Colin! I picked you (and Zywicki and Wiles and Martin and Rosyski and Sedgwick and Cosmo) in my playoff pool, so if you could score a bunch of goals (especially power play or shorthanded, they're worth more points), I would appreciate it. If you guys lose, I'm toast in the pool, so keep that in mind. :-)

Sucks about the loss, dude. The Swarm lost, too. I'm pretty bummed.

Yeah, tough to say the least. I think both teams are in a pretty good spot to build for next year though!! Both us and the Swarm are young and extremely talented...usually a good mix in our league.

Enjoy your summer,

Cheers,

Sorry about the loss. 2009 should be an exciting season, though! Hope you have a great summer season.

Congrats on being named to the All-Pro team! Much deserved.

Thanks alot, it certainly wasn't what I was hoping for, but we all move on!!!

Thanks for keeping in touch, and enjoy your summer and we'll all have something to build on for next season!!

Cheers,

Colin
