NBA Playoffs

What's going on everybody? How's the week going? Mine has been smooth for the most part. I made a pretty bad decision Sunday night to DRIVE to San Fran from my place in Hermosa. Not only was the drive 6 hours, but there were cows the whole way, so it smelled terrible for a good 4 hours of the trip. It was definitely a productive trip though. Monday, I had lunch with Joe from Sling It Lacrosse (lacrosse specialty store), and then we had an autograph session at the store for a few hours. After the signing, we stopped by a few high schools and did a few small clinics, it was a lot of fun. Tuesday, I got to hop around a few of the different neighborhoods that the kids from Lacrosse for LIFE live, which is always eye opening. After that, we had a few more youth clinics, and then I hopped on the road and started back down to Hermosa. All in all, outside of the stinky cows, it's been a GREAT start to the week.

So, on to basketball now. Who do you all think is going to take it this year? I'm still not sure who I'm going with. I'm more of a fan of individual players, I don't really follow a specific team in the NBA. I was definitely pulling for the Sun's, wanted to see Shaq play well and wanted them to push the Spurs a bit. The Spur's are a tough team though man. Their all so comfortable in their roles on that team, it's fun to watch. Everybody does their job and they just methodically take teams a part. On any given night, they could have a different leading scorer. So, I'm not sure I'm ready to pick my a team quite yet, but what do you all think? Who's taking it?

Who's the MVP? There are some crazy talented guy's who have had HUGE years. Kobe, Chris Paul, Lebron, KG, all those cats. Who are ya going with? I'm not positive here either, but I've definitely got a better idea here then I do about my pick to win it all. So get at me! I need to hear your thoughts!

3 more days until I get to practice again with my team, I can't wait.

Talk to you soon,

KH

Oh, come on. The drive from LA to SF isn't thaaat bad.

Kobe is the MVP. How can he not be? Best player on the planet and his team won the West, which no one thought they'd do. He's trying hard to be more likable, so I'd give it to him.

In terms of the NBA Champs, can anyone beat the Spurs?

I think the Lakers might be able to beat the Spurs if they are playing their best. But u never know
lax owns----<o)

haha, I don't know man, that drive wasn't much fun. I completely agree man, hard to argue against Kobe, and the Spurs look great for sure.

I gotta go with the Lakers, Kyle. Kobe is too cut-throat to let anyone beat him. Not LBJ. Not CP3. Not anyone.

True. I was fortunate to sit courtside at a lakers game a few months back and I haven't seen someone since MJ have that killer instinct man, it's fun to see.

I think the Lakers will win it all especially after all the drama at the beginning of the season with Kobe and his trade talk and everything.

I'm just glad he didn't get traded! Epsecially now that I live out here and get to games, it definitely would have been a different atmosphere.

2 of the games the suns lost were soooo close saying they lost 3-1 sounds so much than it was haha. i wanted them to win that series also... im kind of liking the hornets tho. everyones saying their lack of playoff experience will hurt them but they dont look too shabby right now!!

my bad. 4-1.

Rockets all da way KH.....CP3 MVP, ya digg

Honestly, I'd be so happy for T-Mac if your right man, the guy works hard and he's an incredible player. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it's going down that way....but anything can happen for sure.

Kyle, thanks for coming to sling it, and thanks for the posters;
Chris Paul = MVP, and good luck with the Riptide

Of course man, I had a great time! I'll be back again. And thanks for the good luck wishes, it's going to be an exciting season.

highway 5 sure does stink at parts of it. Take highway 1 next time for a super scenic route ;)

Now, i've got a bit of an issue here. I heard that high 1 extends the trip by 3 hours! If that's the case, I'll suck it up and deal with stinky cow's if it puts me home 3 hours earlier. Either way, we don't even need to discuss it because I'm NOT doing that drive again! Good looking out though!

Aww, you're my new favorite Lacrosse player! Glad to hear you were pulling for my Suns! I'm so bummed about the first round exit though. Still haven't recovered, but it's only been two days so that's to be expected I suppose.

I say the Lakers are going to win it all. I am from LA, so now that my team has been knocked out...I'll be pulling for my home team.

As for MVP, I say Kobe.

I was bummed as well! They'll be back next year! And yes, give yourself a few more days to recover! It'll be ok!
Hopefully your home team will pull it out!

Thank you!

By the way, who was right!?! Kobe wins MVP!

The Hornets will be taking it all!! and to go along with that CP3 will win MVP....he is the best PG in the game now and he does things that most humans can't do...GO HORNETS

Chris Paul = yes i agree with you; Hornets, no. I think the Lakers will blow them away, but thats just me.
anyway, Lax owns----<o)

Diggin this too, wouldn't mind seeing CP3 walk away with the trothpy.

It's gonna be the Celtics...as difficult as that is to say coming from a Philly fan (Go Sixers!). The Big 3 plus Rondo and Big Baby, how could you go wrong? I think the MVP should go to Chris Paul. He means the most to the city he plays for. It's great to see New Orleans having a team that thw whole city get can root for.

Ya think? Should be interesting to see what happens here. The series right now definitely didn't go as smoothly as I thought it would. But, I do think it's a definite possibility.

Alright KH I know this sounds werid but I met your cousin Tiffany Bell In durham, NC and my name is Damien Bynum I dont know If she told you about me. But she told me to leave a comment. But other wise man your an awsome lacrosse player and keep doing what your doing man.

I appreciate you hopping on and saying what's up man. you bet T-Bell huh? She's more like an big sister then a cousin, she's the best. Stay in touch man, and feel free to ask me about anything at all if you've got questions.

thanks man. haha also she calls me her husband so like I think were related haha.

i say Spurs again! though im not spurs fan! and i dont agree with Kobe as the MVP, CP# deserves it more!
