MVN:
Watching the 2008 edition of the Blue Jays reminds me of another Toronto squad from the glory days.
Right now, Toronto has the best pitching in the majors (an MLB-low 3.32 ERA through Thursday's action) and is tied with the Angels at the top with 22 saves.
Jesse Litsch is the new ace with seven wins in eight decisions. Roy Halladay has six wins and five complete games. Even A.J. Burnett and Shaun Marcum have five victories apiece, with the latter owning a brilliant 2.64 ERA. Dustin McGowan has struggled at times, but still, has six quality starts this year, including a strong effort against Kansas City in his last outing.
