If you thought the pitching waiver wire had gone empty, look again. You will probably find Collin McHugh, who made his debut for the Mets on Thursday and tossed seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts. J.A. Happ is probably there too and he gave up one in seven innings for Toronto. Alex Cobb might even be available, but snag him after a four-hit shutout with eight strikeouts for the Rays. Barry Zito is always unpredictable and tough to trust, but he threw eight scoreless innings before giving up two in the ninth. Those guys were all better than two of the NL's best who faced off. Cole Hamels gave up three runs in six innings while Johnny Cueto gave up two in five. Roy Oswalt may be on the waiver wire and he is starting to look better, as he gave up three earned runs in 5 1/3 innings pitched. Tyson Ross is likely available as well, but you may want to wait. Making his first appearance for Oakland in two months, Ross gave up five runs in six innings, but he is likely to stay in the rotation
