The win puts the Yanks record at 16-3 on the year.PITCHING: Alfredo Aceves pitched his 2nd very good game in a row. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit, shutout ball. threw 3 scoreless innings to start the game, retiring the first 8 batters he faced. In the 4th he gave up 2 singles to start the inning. He worked out of the jam getting the next 3 batters, 2 on strikeouts, and an infield pop out. Aceves worked out of a 5th inning jam after giving up a double and hitting a batter. That was it for Lehigh Valley against Aceves. He was perfect the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings, retiring the final 11 batters he faced. Aceves got the win (2-0...
