The only real jam he had was in the 4th inning when he gave up a leadoff double. Towers got the next 3 batters to get out of the jam. He also gave up leadoff walks in the 1st and 6th, but worked out of trouble. A single in the 3rd was the only other hit he gave up and that was wiped out with a doubleplay. Towers left the game with a 1-0 lead and picked up the win (2-4).
