  Observations of Game 2 of the World Series from a conscientious objector:   Patients at the plate is a good thing but there comes a time when you have to change your approach. Last night the Phuck Phaces stayed a bit too passive as Pie Man was throwing first pitch strikes to just about every batter. When you see by the third inning that Burnett was on his game, it’s was up to the Phillie hitters to go up and attack that first pitch.   I should feel good for Petey and his performance last night but the spurned Mets fan in me is having a hard time doing that. What was Charlie Manuel thinking (or not thinking) when he let Petey go out for the 7th inning. Hasn’t he heard of Grady Little?
