AccuScore: MLB Waiver Wire Wonders

I'm starting to warm to Cantu.

Some of the other guys shouldn't be waiver wire material... Butler, Fuentes, and Big Hurt.

I'm not sold on Hinske.

I guess it all depends on what kind of league you play in. I try to give a good mixture of players to cover every league type. I'm in a various amount of public leagues for reference. The deeper leagues own Fuentes, but some of the shallow leagues didn't own him. A lot of the deeper leagues cut Frank Thomas when he was released by the Blue Jays.

I've had Cantu on my NL-only team the whole season and haven't been disappointed. In a deeper mixed league he would make a good corner infielder. It may not sound good to say "Jorge Cantu is my starting corner infielder", but he's playing every day, and seems to be hitting in his 2005 form.
