ESPN’s Tim Kurkjian says that Washington Nationals are fielding more calls for first baseman Adam Dunn, and it’s looking more likely that he will be dealt. The Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers are known to have interest in the free-agent-to-be Dunn. Yesterday, there was a rumored three-team trade that would have involved Dunn. The deal would send pitcher Edwin Jackson from the Diamondbacks to the Nationals.  Dunn would go to the Chicago White Sox and a “bunch” of young pitchers to Arizona. The Nationals are continuing to speak with Dunn and his agent about a contract extension, and the team has made it clear that if they cannot get him to agree to an extension then they will trade him.
