I see that Carlos Marmol is replacing Kerry Wood on the NL All Star roster. Nothing says "I deserve to be an All-Star" like a 9.37 ERA over June and July. Granted, Marmol was downright filthy in the beginning of the year and he has like 34.3 K/9 rate, but he's been average of best [...]

Even as a Cubs fan who loves Marmol, even after his poor outings lately, I don't think he should be an all-star. He has a bright future and I think many all-star games in the future are very possible, but not this year.
