Interleague came to thankful end on Sunday with the Red Sox dropping a 2-1 decision to the Braves in Atlanta yesterday.The Sox ended the 18-game monstrosity with an 11-7 record, and won another road series. They ran into a hot rookie pitcher named Tommy Hanson, who pitched six solid innings in getting the win.Brad Penny pitched his usual six innings and allowed just two runs, both solo homers, to Chipper Jones and Garret Anderson.The Red Sox just couldn't get anything going against Hanson, who had flu-like symptoms but went out there and was terrific in getting his fourth win.The Sox got a run with two outs in the ninth, as Jason Varitek singled in Kevin Youkilis, who cleverly broke up a double play that should have ended the game by retreating to first. But Jacoby Ellsbury struck out to end the game.The Red Sox are now 4-2 on the road trip, and now move on to Baltimore for three starting tonight.
