Atlanta Braves 2007 payroll about $80M
There are some bargains here. Chuck James and Brian McCann are set to make $327,000 and $333,000, respectively, but then there are Mike Hampton and Bob Wickman. Those two will combine for over 20% of the team's $80 million salary. OUCH!
The braves are an interesting team. Plenty of young talent to compete, but not enough healthy/productive vets to carry them through the long 162 game season. They'll fall short of the playoffs again this year. 3 Comments On: "Atlanta Braves 2007 payroll about $80M"
